Fibocom SS808 is an LTE Category 4 smart wireless communication module with built-in Android 9 operating system which supports LTE network and WCDMA, GSM fallback. Powered by the Qualcomm SDM450 platform, SS808 adopts an Octa-core Cortex-A53 processor (1.8 GHz), integrating a high-performance graphics engine to allow smooth 1080p video playing and multi-channel camera input.

The module adopts a LCC+LGA form factor, which is compatible with Fibocom SC138, SQ808, SU808 and SC128 modules, giving customers the flexibility to migrate between different technologies as per their requirements.

Fibocom SS808 module supports a range of long-distance communication modes along with dual-band Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth short-distance wireless transmission technology. It also supports multi-constellation GNSS receiver (GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou), which provides precise positioning and navigation, thus greatly simplifying product design. Furthermore, the module features an open Android operating system with a rich set of interfaces like MIPI/ USB/ UART/ SPI/ I2C, offering flexibility and ease of integration to meet the diverse application demands of the IoT industry.
